~*Founded in 2009, Live Free Fest was dreamed up and made into reality by Jason Gordon , his family and friends. In the early months of 2009 Jason decided that the northern NY area needed some more artistic happenings, so with the help of many people and local companies, Jason started working on the new Live Free Fields venue! After many hours of help from dedicated volunteers, Live Free Art and Music Fest 2009 was scheduled for August 7th, 8th, and 9th. The festival was a huge success bringing friends, family, artists, and craftsmen alike from all over the country to have a good ole fun time in the country under the huge skys of Tug Hill...2010 was even more glorious, welcoming back many artists, musicians and campers from the previous year plus many more! The main goal of Live Free Fest is to create a time and place that is completely dedicated to learning, collaborating, performing, promoting, exploring and inspiring all aspects of the arts! This is a friendly place for all types of artists to share thier ideas and skills, while helping people get more involved and aware of the art world!!
